Salicylic Acid helps with the removal of scales caused by psoriasis. It does this by helping dissolve the build up of dead skin sells on psoriasis plaques. Salicylic Acid's good disinfectant and antiseptic properties may also help skin lesions that have been infected by bacterial and fungal growth.
